Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing PVC Floor Tile for your temporary flooring needs. These simple terms apply when you hire tiles, flooring panels, accessories or related products from us for events, camps, marquees, exhibitions, functions, temporary venues or short-term use.

1. Booking and Availability

All tile hire bookings are subject to stock availability. A booking is only confirmed once PVC Floor Tile has accepted the request and the required payment or deposit has been received.

2. Hire Period

The hire period will be confirmed on your quotation or invoice. Please make sure the tiles are ready for collection or return on the agreed date. Extra hire charges may apply for late returns or extended hire periods.

3. Payment and Deposit

A deposit or full payment may be required before the tiles are released, delivered or installed. If a refundable deposit applies, it will be refunded after the tiles are returned and checked, provided they are clean, complete and not damaged.

4. Delivery, Collection and Installation

Delivery, collection and installation are only included if stated on the quotation. The customer must make sure the site is accessible, safe and ready at the agreed time.

5. Site Conditions

The customer must make sure the area is suitable for temporary flooring. The surface should be reasonably level, safe, clean and accessible. Uneven, muddy, rough or unsuitable surfaces may require extra preparation or different tile options.

6. Care of Hired Tiles

The hired tiles remain the property of PVC Floor Tile. During the hire period, the customer is responsible for keeping the tiles safe, clean and in good condition. The tiles must not be cut, painted, glued, drilled, altered or misused.

7. Loss, Damage or Dirty Returns

The customer may be charged for tiles or accessories that are lost, stolen, damaged, broken, badly stained or returned excessively dirty. Cleaning, repair or replacement charges may be deducted from the deposit where applicable.

8. Cancellation

If a confirmed booking is cancelled, cancellation fees may apply depending on how close the cancellation is to the hire date. If delivery, dispatch or installation has already started, full or partial charges may apply.

9. Customer Responsibility

The customer is responsible for safe use of the hired tiles during the hire period. PVC Floor Tile is not responsible for problems caused by unsafe site conditions, misuse, poor access, weather, flooding, delays, third-party damage or conditions outside our control.

10. Acceptance of Terms

By accepting a quotation, making payment, confirming a booking, collecting tiles or taking delivery of hired products, the customer agrees to these Tile Hire Terms and Conditions.
