PVC Floor Tile Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to quotations, orders, payments, collections, deliveries, installations, returns, refunds and use of the PVC Floor Tile (Pty) Ltd website.
By requesting a quotation, placing an order, making payment, accepting delivery or using this website, the customer agrees to the terms set out on this page.
Important: By making payment, the customer confirms that they have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
1. General Terms
PVC Floor Tile (Pty) Ltd supplies flooring products, accessories and related services to customers in South Africa. These terms are intended to make our order, payment, delivery and after-sales process clear and fair.
- Quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise in writing.
- Prices are based on EXW Randburg, Johannesburg, unless delivery is included in writing.
- Full payment is required before goods are released, collected, delivered or installed.
- Goods remain the property of PVC Floor Tile (Pty) Ltd until paid for in full.
- Quotations exclude installation, adhesive, edging, maintenance products and additional services unless specifically listed.
- Product availability, colours, prices and lead times may change without prior notice.
2. Quotations and Orders
A quotation is not an order confirmation until payment has been received or the order has been formally accepted by PVC Floor Tile (Pty) Ltd.
- Customers must check product descriptions, quantities, colours, sizes and delivery details before making payment.
- Any changes to an order must be confirmed in writing before processing, production or dispatch.
- Special colours, custom sizes, bulk orders and made-to-order items may require additional lead time.
- Once production or dispatch has started, order changes may not always be possible.
3. Payment Terms
PVC Floor Tile (Pty) Ltd requires full payment before goods are released for collection, dispatched for delivery or installed. Proof of payment may be required before processing an order.
Where installation is included, a deposit or full payment may be required before the installation date is booked. Orders are confirmed only once payment reflects or has been verified by our team.
4. Production and Lead Times
Some products, colours or special orders may require production time. A minimum production period of approximately 5 working days may apply, depending on stock, material availability and production scheduling.
- Lead times are estimates and may change due to production demand or stock availability.
- Bright or special colour tiles may require additional production planning.
- Large orders may be supplied in batches where agreed with the customer.
- Customers should confirm urgent project deadlines before making payment.
5. Delivery and Collection
Delivery dates can only be confirmed once payment has been received and the order is ready. Delivery charges may depend on product quantity, order size, location, courier requirements and access conditions.
- Delivery is charged separately unless clearly included on the quotation or invoice.
- Customers must provide the correct delivery address and contact details.
- Delivery delays caused by incorrect information, access problems or courier delays are outside our direct control.
- Customers collecting from our premises must confirm collection time and order readiness in advance.

6. Installation Conditions
Where installation is requested, the customer must ensure that the site is ready before the installation team arrives.
7. Extra Charges and Site Requirements
Extra charges may apply where the installation team is required to remove carpets, furniture, old flooring, stock, machinery or any obstruction that was not included in the original quotation.
Additional charges may also apply where a customer under-orders material and a second delivery or return visit is required to complete the work.
8. Product Use and Suitability
Customers are responsible for choosing a product suitable for their intended application. PVC Floor Tile can assist with product guidance, but the final purchase decision remains the customer’s responsibility unless a written specification has been agreed.
- Different areas may require different tile thicknesses, finishes or materials.
- Heavy traffic, vehicles, forklifts, chemicals, heat and outdoor exposure must be discussed before purchase.
- Incorrect product use may affect performance, lifespan and warranty eligibility.
- Customers should ask for advice before purchasing for unusual or high-risk environments.
9. Bulk Order Policy
PVC Floor Tile (Pty) Ltd may offer bulk pricing for larger commercial, industrial or project-based orders, including warehouses, retail spaces, gyms, workshops, schools and other large floor areas.
Bulk pricing depends on quantity, product type, colour availability, stock levels and production schedule. Customers can browse available products on our online shop or contact the sales team for project pricing.
10. Returns
Returns are accepted only where the product is unused, clean, undamaged, complete, in acceptable packaging and suitable for resale, unless otherwise agreed in writing by PVC Floor Tile (Pty) Ltd.
- Return requests must be made within the time period stated in the applicable return policy.
- Partial returns may not qualify for a refund unless approved in writing.
- Custom, special colour, cut-to-size or made-to-order products may not qualify for return.
- Transport costs for returns are the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed.

11. Refunds
Refunds are assessed only after returned goods have been received, inspected and approved by PVC Floor Tile (Pty) Ltd.

12. Defective Products and Product Variations
PVC Floor Tile (Pty) Ltd will assess products reported as defective. Where a confirmed manufacturing defect is found, the company may replace, repair or refund the affected item in line with its assessment process.
Minor colour differences, surface marks, shade variations and batch differences may occur, especially with recycled-content products and injection-moulded tiles. These variations do not automatically mean that the product is defective.
- Tile sizes and colours may vary slightly between batches.
- Temperature and humidity may affect expansion or contraction over time.
- Previously installed tiles may differ slightly from newly supplied tiles.
- Minor manufacturing marks may be visible on tile centres, edges or surfaces.
- Bright colours may show minor marks more easily than darker colours.
13. Warranty and Guarantee
PVC Floor Tile (Pty) Ltd may provide a guarantee or warranty on selected products, subject to correct product use, correct installation, suitable site conditions, proper maintenance and normal wear expectations.
Warranty or guarantee claims may be rejected where damage is caused by incorrect installation, unsuitable site conditions, misuse, exposure to unsuitable chemicals, excessive heat, sharp objects, heavy abuse, incorrect cleaning or use outside the recommended application.

16. Legal Acknowledgment
By making payment, accepting a quotation, requesting delivery, collecting goods or proceeding with installation, the customer confirms that they have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
PVC Floor Tile (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions when necessary. The latest version published on this website will apply unless a written agreement states otherwise.
